Version
The most current version of the Harmonic Patterns Collection for NinjaTrader 8 is v24.03.25. Please note that this version of HPC requires that you are updated to the most recent NinjaTrader 8 version, which as of this writing is 8.1.2.1. Do NOT attempt to import our Compiled Assembly into an earlier version of NinjaTrader 8.
If you are already running the Harmonic Patterns Indicator you can determine the version by looking at the bottom-left of any chart in which the indicator is loaded.
If your version is older, or if no version number is displayed, (or if you are just not sure) then you should import the most current version before proceeding.
The most current version is always available at this link and is in the form of a NinjaTrader Compiled Assembly. See our Installer topic for more information on installing the Harmonic Pattern Collection indicators. Quick Start
The components of the NinjaTrader interface that we are concerned with as users of the Harmonic Pattern Collection are the Market Analyzer component and the Chart component. How to set up and configure the Market Analyzer component and link to a chart is covered in the Market Analyzer Operation section. The Chart component is discussed briefly below, and is covered in more detail in the Chart Operation section.
The easiest way to get up and running in a Chart is to load one of the Harmonic Pattern Collection chart templates that were included as part of the installation.
You can use any of the templates, but should probably use the harmonicPatternCollection template since it includes all of the indicators.
If you only want to see the patterns then you should use the harmonicPatternCollectionPatternsOnly template.
If you only want to see the indicators then you should use the harmonicPatternCollectionIndicatorsOnly template.

harmonicPatternCollection template
The first chart template that we provide (above) is called harmonicPatternCollection and it will load the pattern indicator and the supporting indicators into your chart.
harmonicPatternCollectionPatternsOnly template
The second chart template that we provide (above) is called harmonicPatternCollectionPatternsOnly and it will load just the pattern indicator into your chart.
harmonicPatternCollectionIndicatorsOnly template
The third chart template that we provide (above) is called harmonicPatternCollectionIndicatorsOnly and it will load just the supporting indicators (no patterns) into your chart.

To load one of the pre-installed Harmonic Pattern Collection chart templates, please follow these steps: |
•First, follow the instructions at the top of this page to check the version of the Harmonic Pattern Collection that is currently installed in your NinjaTrader platform, if any. If you have an older version (or if you are not sure) then be sure to uninstall the older version and import the most current version before doing anything else. See the Installer section.
•Pull up a chart in NinjaTrader, right-click in the chart and select the Templates option that you see near the bottom of the menu.
•A sub-menu will appear, click on the Load option.

•You should now be looking at the contents of the Load dialog.
•Select the template that you wish to use and then click on the Load button. |

•The template you selected will be loaded into your NinjaTrader chart. You might need to adjust the height of the indicator panes.
•Repeat the process for all of your charts in which you want to load the HPC indicators.
