Select from "TPO on Volume" and "TPO on Price". When "TPO on Volume" is selected the actual volume of each bar is used as part of the POC and value area calculations and this is the default value. When "TPO on Price" is selected then volume is not used. Rather each price level reached in each bar is considered one "touch". "TPO on Price" should be used for symbols that do not report volume OR if you believe the volume reported to be inaccurate. |
Val Pct |
Input the percentage that will be used for the value area calculation. The default is 70 (i.e., 70%). |
Fill? |
If this box is checked then the value area outline outline will be filled. |
Opacity |
Select a value between 1 and 10 to set the opacity of the fill (if used). |
Display Values? |
If this box is checked then the most recent UVA/POC/LVA values will be displayed in the y-axis of the chart. |
UVA |
Select the color to be used draw the UVA (Upper Value Area). The default is light purple. |
POC |
Select the color to be used to draw the POC (Point of Control). The default is navy. |
LVA |
Select the color to be used to draw the LVA (Lower Value Area). The default is light red. |
