MA Period
Default value is 41. Valid range is from 2 to 500.
This controls the period (or length) of the Moving Average that you create in the cycleMABands indicator. Generally you would set the MA Period to one-half (1/2) the length of a strong cycle you have found in the security you are charting. You would then typically set the MA Offset to approximately one-half (1/2) of the MA Period value you have chosen.
So, for example, if you identify a strong 50-bar cycle in the security you are charting, you would set the MA Period parameter to 25 ( 1/2 of 50) and you would then set the MA Offset parameter to 13. This will create a Moving Average that is 1/2 of the measured cycle length with an offset of 1/2 the Moving Average length.
