Bars Backward
The default value is 200 (for cycleAnalyzer) and 120 (for cycleProjector and cycleProjectorXT). The valid range is from 5 to 500.
This parameter represents the number of bars into the past that you wish to back-plot the cycle analysis. This is always measured from the Point of Origin, which is the grey vertical line that you will see in the cycleAnalyzer, cycleProjector and cycleProjectorXT indicator panes.
The Bars Backward parameter plays another important role in both the cycleAnalyzer and cycleProjector indicators. The number of bars back selected is also used in the "Fitness" calculations that are provided in both indicators. So, in the case of the cycleAnalyzer indicator, if you select a Bars Backward value of 120 bars then 120 bars of price (or moving average) data will be used in determining the goodness of fit between the cycleAnalyzer back-plot and the price action. The same logic holds true for the cycleProjector indicator.
