While we have wanted to create a version of HPC for TradingView for quite some time, we were unable to do so because of limitations in the TradingView scripting language (PineScript). However TradingView recently introduced some exciting updates that allowed us to create what we call a "Lite" version of our HPC product.
Why is it "Lite"? Because there are some code-size, code-complexity, and overall functionality restrictions in PineScript that prevent us from implementing all of the features that we have in our desktop versions, and we had to strike a balance between execution speed and functionality. So while the actual pattern verification logic is identical to that used in our desktop versions, this Lite version cannot find as many overall patterns as our desktop versions (the dataset size that it uses is much smaller), nor can it display as many historical patterns, and the filtering logic is not quite as powerful. That being said, it does do a great job of finding current patterns whose size is in the sweet spot of around 30 to 400 bars.
If your goal is to be able to view recent, tradeable patterns and your platform of choice is TradingView then this product is for you. However, if you need to research a lot of historical patterns and you need a lot of options for fine-tuning/filtering those patterns then you should look to one of our desktop implementations (i.e., for example eSignal, MT4/MT5, Ninja7/Ninja8, or Sierra Chart).
We are very excited about our HPC Lite for TradingView product and we are hoping that, as TradingView's PineScript language evolves, we will be able to add more features and functionality.
Please review the Chart Operation topic for more information on the limitations of our Lite product.
